“Training matters because when understanding is missing, people are failed by the systems meant to support them.”

Alongside my client work, I offer both training and consultancy for organisations, therapy training schools and medical or clinical settings.

My work sits within a GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) framework and is grounded in extensive therapeutic experience with LGBTIQ+ clients, including trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people.

Training & Consultation

Training

I deliver structured training for teams who want to strengthen their practice, feel more assured in complex or sensitive areas of their work and support people more effectively. This includes working confidently with LGBTQI+ clients or patients and embedding inclusive approaches across a service, rather than treating them as add-ons.

Training is always shaped around your context and can be delivered to therapists, counselling students, medical professionals, educators and community organisations. Sessions are grounded in real-world practice and designed to translate directly into day-to-day clinical or organisational work.

I am an alumnus of the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and part of the teaching faculty at NAOS Institute, where I teach on the Advanced Couples Therapy course.

I am also a Pink Therapy-endorsed GSRD-aware trainer.

Experience and Background

Consultancy

Alongside training, I offer consultancy support for organisations, artists and producers looking for specialist input around gender, sexuality, relationships and wellbeing. Consultancy work is more flexible and responsive, shaped around a specific project, question or area of development.

This has included advising on inclusive language and gender-diversity-affirming practice for the sex toy company Hot Octopuss, as well as artist wellbeing and trans consultancy for Trans Daddy, a trans-centred performance event in London for Pride 2024 produced by Duckie.

I am also experienced in teaching and advising on GSRD modules within therapy trainings, including the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and the NAOS Advanced Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy.

“A rigorous and well-held session that balanced theory with practical application. It added real value to our training programme.”

“This was the first training where I felt genuinely informed rather than overwhelmed. Serge creates a space that’s open, grounded and easy to learn in.”
