Space to talk, room to change.
Providing a supportive environment for individuals and partners to explore relationships, identity and intimacy.
How I Work
I am experienced in working therapeutically with sex, gender and relationships, including your relationship with yourself.
My work is grounded in a GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) specialism and recognises the many ways people live, love and make sense of who they are.
I work with trans, non-binary, gender diverse, gender non-conforming, LGBQA+ and heterosexual cisgender clients, both individually and with partners.
You might come to therapy during a period of change or transition - in yourself, your partner or your relationship - or to work with questions around gender, sexuality or relationship dynamics.
Areas we might look at.
Individuals
I offer online therapy for anyone exploring gender, identity or how they see themselves. Looking at what’s important, at your pace and on your terms. You may want support with:
• coming in to yourself and coming out to others
• building confidence and ease with your body
• exploring LGBTQA+ or straight sexuality
• questioning or exploring gender
• managing gender dysphoria
• exploring options for medical transition
• preparing for gender affirming assessments or surgeries
• social transition and stepping into yourself
• navigating change with family, work or community
• building resilience and a stronger sense of self
Partners
Relationships can change when one or both partners wish to explore gender, sexuality or different relationship models. You may want support with:
• navigating gender or sexuality transition as a couple
• understanding and supporting each other’s experiences
• communicating through change
• rebuilding intimacy and trust
• exploring sexuality and attraction
• adapting roles and expectations
• managing external pressures or family responses
• differences in desire or arousal
• reconnecting with yourself or a partner after change or surgery
• finding new ways to connect and move forward together
Sex, Intimacy & the Body
Alongside gender-focused work, I support clients with the sexual and relational parts of their lives.
This can include desire, arousal, confidence, sexual self-image, pleasure, curiosity and imagination, as well as the impact of past experience.
Some people come wanting to talk about solo sex, kink, open relationships, hook-ups or other aspects of their erotic life.
I also work with clients preparing for or recovering from medical treatments such as gender-affirming procedures, hysterectomy or adult circumcision.
This work can involve reconnecting with your body, exploring intimacy and rebuilding confidence.
I have particular experience supporting individuals and partners after lower surgery, helping them work through fears and desires and find new ways to feel at ease with their body and with each other.
FAQ
-
Before starting therapy, I offer a free 30-minute online consultation.
It’s a relaxed conversation where you can tell me a bit about what’s bringing you to therapy and ask any questions you might have.
It’s also a chance for us both to get a sense of how it feels to work together, with no pressure to commit.
-
All my sessions take place online or by phone. This means you can access therapy from wherever you are.
Many people find that remote sessions make it easier to fit therapy into their lives and talk more freely in familiar surroundings.
Whether you prefer video or phone, the focus is always on creating a space that feels safe, supportive and fully yours.
-
I work with adults of all genders, identities and sexualities.
Many of my clients are trans, non-binary or queer, but not everyone is.
You don’t need to fit a label to start therapy - what matters is that you’re looking for a space to talk, reflect and make sense of what’s happening in your life.
-
Everything we talk about in therapy is treated as confidential.
There are rare legal and ethical situations where I may need to share information, for example if there is serious risk of harm to you or others. If this ever came up, I would aim to discuss it with you first wherever possible.
I am registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office), the UK’s independent authority for data protection and privacy.
Your privacy and trust are central to how I work, and anything you share is handled with care and respect.
